Nevada has gone a perfect 4-0 against Joplin recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Tigers will face off against the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. Nevada hasn't scored more than a single run for four games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

Cassville hit Nevada with a five-run first inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Tigers came up short against the Wildcats, falling 11-1.

Meanwhile, Joplin posted their closest win since October 14, 2024 on Friday. They won by a run and slipped past Monett 2-1.

Nevada's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Joplin, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.

Everything went Nevada's way against Joplin when the teams last played back in September of 2019, as Nevada made off with a 13-5 win. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
