Soccer Game Preview: Alhambra vs. Northgate

The Alhambra Bulldogs will take on the Northgate Broncos at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Alhambra's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Alhambra lost 5-1 to Miramonte on Tuesday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Bulldogs were already down 3-0.

Meanwhile, Northgate unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They and Acalanes finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time the Broncos have been dealt a draw since back in December of 2024.

Sadie Hansell and Sarah Burkes scored both of Northgate's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Alhambra now has a losing record at 4-5-1. Northgate's draw gives them a new season record of 5-1-2.
