General McLane is 3-0 against Oil City since December of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The General McLane Lancers will be playing at home against the Oil City Oilers at 6:00 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Last Monday, General McLane came up short against Harbor Creek and fell 41-28. The game marked the Lancers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Oil City didn't have quite enough to beat Titusville on Monday and fell 43-41. The Oilers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

General McLane has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season. As for Oil City, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

Everything came up roses for General McLane against Oil City in their previous meeting back in December of 2018, as the squad secured a 73-38 win. Will General McLane repeat their success, or does Oil City have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
