Basketball Recap: Gabrielino Starts Season with Victory Against Bell Gardens + How To Watch

Gabrielino had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Bell Gardens Lancers 53-19. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 29-7.

Gabrielino found their leader in sophomore Chloe Trieu, who posted 14 points.

Bell Gardens is on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Gabrielino and Bell Gardens will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Eagles see the court they'll take on Western Christian at 6:30 p.m. on December 1. As for Bell Gardens, their break will end when they face Santa Monica at 6:00 p.m. on December 2.
