Volleyball Recap: Vinton County Comes Up Short

Vinton County managed to slip by Alexander the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Vikings came up short against the Spartans on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-15, 25-10.

Vinton County's loss dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Alexander, their win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-3.

Vinton County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Alexander, after both having extra time off, they and West Union will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
