Alexander Spartans (Albany, OH) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Vinton County Vikings (McArthur, OH), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Alexander upgrades its record to 19-3 on the campaign. The Spartans host West Union (West Union, OH) to meet the Dragons in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, October 15. The Dragons come into the challenge with a record of 7-14. West Union won 3-0 in their recent league test against Eastern (Sardinia, OH)

The Vikings now sport a 10-12 record.
