Soccer Game Preview: Academy of Our Lady of Peace vs. Cathedral Catholic

The Academy of Our Lady of Peace Pilots will face off against the Cathedral Catholic Dons at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Academy of Our Lady of Peace is headed into the matchup having not lost since December 13 and will look to keep things rolling. They and Point Loma finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw on Friday.

Meanwhile, Cathedral Catholic entered their tilt with Patrick Henry on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They never let the Patriots onto the board and left with a 1-0 victory. That's two games straight that the Dons have won by just one goal.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Tyler Rolf, who's now up to seven this season.

Cathedral Catholic pushed their record up to 9-4-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three games. Academy of Our Lady of Peace's draw gives them a new season record of 8-1-3.
