Basketball Recap: Orthopaedic Comes Up Short

Orthopaedic suffered their closest loss since December 6, 2023 on Thursday. They fell just short of the USC-MAE Trojans by a score of 21-18. The Vipers haven't had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Orthopaedic's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for USC-MAE, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-4 record.

After both having extra time off, Orthopaedic and Aspire Ollin will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 2:30 p.m. on January 8, 2025. As for USC-MAE, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Downtown Magnets at 2:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
