Basketball Recap: Contra Costa Christian Takes a Loss

Contra Costa Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 30-22 to the Holy Names Monarchs. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 30-26 last Thursday.

Contra Costa Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Holy Names, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-5.

Contra Costa Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Holy Names, they will venture away from home to square off against California School for the Deaf at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
