Basketball Recap: Presentation Comes Up Short

Presentation was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 45-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wood Wildcats.

Leading Wood to victory were Amiyah Murry and Mikyah Dixon. Murry dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds, while Dixon dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 boards. Murry is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Nateyah Ebuen, who posted six points and five rebounds.

Presentation's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Wood, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

Presentation will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Saint Francis at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Wood, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Wood Wildcats duke it out with the Bethel Jaguars at 12:30 p.m. on Monday.
