Baseball Recap: Neoga Comes Up Short

Neoga was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dieterich Movin Maroons. The Indians were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Movin Maroons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2025.

Neoga's loss dropped their record down to 14-13. As for Dieterich, the win got them back to even at 14-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Neoga will venture away from home to face off against Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Indians' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Knights have averaged an impressive 8.9 runs per game this season. As for Dieterich, they will head out on the road to challenge Okaw Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Timberwolves will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Movin Maroons surely won't give up without a fight.
