Baseball Recap: Sidwell Friends Comes Up Short

Sidwell Friends was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Washington-Liberty Generals.

Sidwell Friends' defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Washington-Liberty, their victory bumped their record up to 10-7.

Looking ahead, Sidwell Friends will challenge Saint James at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Washington-Liberty, they will face off against McLean at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Generals 3.6, the Highlanders 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.
