Football Recap: Rashad Stafford Leads Thunder Ridge's Defense on Friday

Thunder Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 44-36 to the Frankfort Wildcats. The Longhorns lost against the Wildcats in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 54-6 score last time.

Even if they lost, Thunder Ridge's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. In that department, Rashad Stafford was the leader with two.

Thunder Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Frankfort, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Looking ahead, Thunder Ridge will take on St. John's/Tipton Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Frankfort, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Wakefield at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th.
