Soccer Recap: Southwest EC Comes Up Short

Southwest EC was the 4-0 winner over Southwest SD when they last played one another back in December of 2015, but their luck changed this time around. The Southwest EC Eagles lost 12-0 to the Southwest SD Raiders on Thursday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Southwest EC's loss dropped their record down to 5-8-1. As for Southwest SD, they moved to 2-5 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southwest EC will be taking part in a tournament against Brawley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Brawley's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Southwest SD, they will venture away from home to challenge Orange Glen at 7:25 p.m. on Monday.
