Baseball Recap: Northside Takes a Loss

Northside fell victim to Central and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Patriots were not able to get on the board.

Northside saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Max Thrash, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

This is the second loss in a row for Northside and nudges their season record down to 19-9. As for Central, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 22-8.

Coming up, Northside will take on Carrollton at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Patriots will need to watch out since the Trojans have now posted at least ten runs in their last three games. Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
