Basketball Recap: San Leandro Takes a Loss

San Leandro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were dealt a 61-20 loss at the hands of the Piedmont Highlanders. The Pirates were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-10.

San Leandro's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Piedmont, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-4.

San Leandro is taking a road trip to face off against Concord at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Piedmont has already played their next game (against Weston Ranch), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
