Soccer Recap: First Presbyterian Day Has No Trouble Against Piedmont Academy

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Landmark Christian, First Presbyterian Day was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They put the hurt on the Piedmont Academy Cougars with a sharp 11-1 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what the Vikings needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

First Presbyterian Day now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Piedmont Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3-1.

Looking ahead, First Presbyterian Day will be playing at home against Tattnall Square Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Piedmont Academy, they will take on Central Fellowship Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Piedmont Academy has given up an average of 7 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.
