Soccer Game Preview: Chadwick vs. Torrance

After a short break, it's finally time for some more action. The Chadwick Dolphins will host the Torrance Tartars at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Chadwick is likely headed into the match with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Peninsula back in December of 2025. The Dolphins fell 2-0 to the Panthers. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Chadwick's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, Torrance kept a clean sheet against Santa Monica back in December of 2025. They came out on top against the Vikings by a score of 2-0. Given Torrance's advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 24th, while Santa Monica are ranked 182nd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Veronica Jimenez and Jennah Black scored both of Torrance's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 14 goals.

Chadwick's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5-2. As for Torrance, their win bumped their record up to 10-1.
