Upper Perkiomen extends road losing streak to 18

The Upper Perkiomen Indians lost against the Upper Merion Area Vikings back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Upper Perkiomen fell 33-22 to Upper Merion Area. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Upper Perkiomen in their matchups with Upper Merion Area: they've now lost four in a row.
Upper Perkiomen's loss was their 18th straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-14. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 23.2 points per game. As for Upper Merion Area, their victory bumped their record up to 10-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Upper Perkiomen will take on Pottsgrove at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Pennsylvania (Pottsgrove is ranked 578th, while Upper Perkiomen is ranked 559th). As for Upper Merion Area, they will play host again and welcome Phoenixville, where tip off is scheduled for 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.
