Football Game Preview: Lafayette Patriots vs. Grady Falcons

The Lafayette Patriots will head out on the road to take on the Grady Falcons on Saturday. Lafayette is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Lafayette played against Long Island City on Saturday and lost via forfeit.

Grady will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up six points two weeks ago, then bounced right back against Evander Childs on Saturday. The Falcons blew past the Tigers 34-0. The win continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won four in a row.

Lafayette's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Grady, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Everything came up roses for Lafayette against Grady when the teams last played back in November of 2016, as the team secured a 38-8 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Patriots since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
