Football Recap: Selah Comes Up Short

Selah entered their game against Ephrata on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Vikings took a 23-16 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. If the Vikings were looking for revenge after losing 34-13 to the Tigers when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Selah's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Ephrata, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Selah will square off against rival Prosser at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Ephrata is set to take on their familiar foe Grandview at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
