Basketball Recap: Shikellamy Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Win

Shikellamy extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Lily Fatool. The Shikellamy Braves put the hurt on the Danville Ironmen with a sharp 65-41 win on Tuesday thanks in part to Fatool, who went 10 for 21 on her way to 28 points in addition to eight assists and five boards. Her evening made it nine games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Mya Bronowicz, who posted four points along with seven rebounds and five steals. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in steals.

Shikellamy's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-3. As for Danville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shikellamy will host Selinsgrove at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Danville, they will welcome Jersey Shore at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
