Softball Recap: Midland Takes a Loss

Midland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They came up short against the Calamus-Wheatland Warriors, falling 9-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-8 on Thursday.

Midland's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Calamus-Wheatland, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-9.

Coming up, Midland will head out on the road to challenge Starmont at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles are facing the Stars at the right time seeing as the Stars are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. Calamus-Wheatland has already played their next matchup (against Tipton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
