Recap: Lick-Wilmerding Tigers vs. San Domenico Panthers
The Lick-Wilmerding Tigers have been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They lost to San Domenico at home by a decisive 68-54 margin on Tuesday. Lick-Wilmerding has not had much luck with San Domenico recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Several Tigers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Amaya Tavu, who scored 15 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Lauryn Lacap, who scored eight points along with six rebounds.
Lick-Wilmerding's defeat dropped their record down to 15-6. As for San Domenico, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-8.
Lick-Wilmerding's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Convent of the Sacred Heart at 1:00 p.m. on January 27th. As for San Domenico, they will head out on the road to challenge University at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
