Basketball Recap: Garden Grove Comes Up Short

Garden Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 69-30 loss at the hands of the Westminster Lions. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Argonauts this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 52-44 back in January.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Westminster to victory, but perhaps none more so than Leyna Pham, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 12 rebounds. Truc Truong was another key player, putting up 17 points.

Garden Grove's loss dropped their record down to 6-18. As for Westminster, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-16.

As of now, neither Garden Grove nor Westminster have any future games scheduled.
