St. Francis Borgia took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Northwest, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Knights sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over the Lions on Tuesday. The four-run effort marked the Knights' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

St. Francis Borgia's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Northwest, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-4.

Looking ahead, St. Francis Borgia will square off against Lutheran at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northwest, they will face off against Parkway South at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
