Baseball Game Preview: Covenant Christian Academy Rams vs. Peachtree Academy Panthers

The Covenant Christian Academy Rams will take on the Peachtree Academy Panthers at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. Covenant Christian Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.6 runs per game this season.

Covenant Christian Academy's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They put the hurt on Kings Way Christian School with a sharp 16-0 win. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Crusaders recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Garrison Barton was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. In other batting news, Bo Reid and Asher Bond did most of the damage at the plate: Reid went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple, while Bond went a perfect 3-for-3 with two triples, three runs, and two RBI.
