Softball Recap: Walker Comes Up Short

Holy Innocents Episcopal hit Walker with a five-run third inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Wolverines came up short against the Golden Bears, falling 10-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Wolverines in their meetings with the Golden Bears: they've now lost six in a row.

Walker saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dylan Koppel, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Walker's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Holy Innocents Episcopal, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-6.

Looking ahead, Walker will challenge Galloway at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Holy Innocents Episcopal, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Coretta Scott King YWLA at 5:30 p.m. on the 29th.
