Tulelake's game on Thursday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Butte Valley Bulldogs. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Tulelake's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 16th, while Butte Valley are ranked 61st).

Alex Garcia and Miguel Anthony Alcala scored all three of Tulelake's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 60 goals.

Tulelake has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 66 goals over those 11 matchups. As for Butte Valley, they moved to 5-14 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak.
