Baseball Recap: Lamar County Comes Up Short

Lamar County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 7-4 to the Jasper County Hurricanes. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hurricanes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-3 on Tuesday.

Lamar County's loss dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Jasper County, they pushed their record up to 17-11 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Lamar County beat the Hurricanes by a score of 9-4 later that day.
