It was a proper cat-fight when Gilmer duked it out with Ridgeland on Friday. The Bobcats walked away with a 9-4 victory over the Panthers. Winning may never get old, but the Bobcats sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Gilmer's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-14. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.8 runs over those games. As for Ridgeland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 16 of their last 17 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-18 record this season.
