High school girls basketball: McKenna Woliczko, Brihanna Crittendon headline top 10 wings/forwards in 2025-26

Several top players returning from missing last season with ACL injuries.

Our position-by-position breakdown ahead of the 2025-26 high school basketball season continues with the wings/forwards. Earlier we looked at the point guards and shooting guards, and next we will focus on the posts to continue our preseason coverage.

McKenna Woliczko of Archbishop Mitty (San Jose, Calif.)Brihanna Crittendon of Riverdale Ridge (Thornton, Colo.) and Addison Bjorn of Park Hill South (Riverside, Mo.) headline the top wings and forwards. All three are versatile enough to score from outside while powerful enough to play down low and finish through contact in the paint.

1. McKenna Woliczko, Archbishop Mitty (San Jose, Calif.)
6-2 | Senior | Committed to Iowa
Among the top five players in her class, the future Hawkeye is coming back from a season-ending ACL injury last season. Her timetable looks favorable as the Monarchs look to reach a sixth straight Open Division final. At the time of her injury, she was averaging 22.1 points and 8.9 rebounds per game.

6-3 | Senior | Uncommitted
The Ravens went 21-6 and reached the Class 6A semifinals as she averaged 26.4 points, 5.9 rebounds, 2.9 steals and 2.7 assists per game. She topped the 2,000-point mark for her career last season and has a shot at 3,000.

6-1 | Senior | Uncommitted
Averaged 22.0 points, 11.5 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 3.4 steals per game and threw down a dunk in a game last season. She helped the Panthers to a 28-1 record and the Class 6 District 8 final berth.

6-1 | Junior | Uncommitted
Posted 21.6 points, 10.5 rebounds, 5.8 assists, 3.1 blocks and 2.6 steals per game in leading the Moose to a 27-3 record and fourth straight Pennsylvania Independent Schools Athletic Association title.

Averaged 18.0 points, 8.1 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 4.0 steals per game as the Cavaliers went 28-0 and won the Class 5A title. A two-time state champion and gold-medalist with USA Basketball, she is looking to bring home a 12th state title in 13 seasons for the Cavaliers.

6-2 | Senior | Notre Dame
As a freshman and sophomore, she led Liberty (Frisco) to state titles but missed her junior season for the Bulldogs with an ACL injury.

7. Kaeli Wynn, Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.)
6-2 | Senior | Uncommitted
Sharp-shooting forward averaged 17.6 points and 7.3 rebounds per game while connecting on 43 percent of her shots from 3-point range. Suffered a leg injury near the end of the regular season but returned to help the nationally-ranked Monarchs in the postseason.

6-3 | Senior | Kentucky
A whirlwind on the court she averaged 11.4 points, 8.1 rebounds and 2.8 assists as a sophomore before missing her junior season with an ACL injury.



6-2 | Senior | LSU
Playing behind her sister Jaylah (Mississippi State) and Laila Abdurraqib (New Mexico), she averaged 11.8 points, 6.4 rebounds and 3.6 assists as the Bears went 22-2.

6-1 | Senior | Indiana
Averaged 14.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 3.0 steals per game as the Caseys went 28-5 and within a tip-in from going to the Non-Public A state final.
