It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Sacred Heart-Griffin had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They breezed past the Carterville Lions to the tune of 45-15. The Cyclones might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by 23 points or more this season.

Thomas Southern had a dynamite game, rushing for 84 yards and one TD on only five carries.

The win made it two in a row for Sacred Heart-Griffin and bumps their season record up to 8-3. As for Carterville, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 10-1.
