Baseball Game Preview: Temple Tigers vs. Heard County Braves

Temple hasn't had much luck against Heard County recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Tigers will host the Braves at 5:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Temple blew Armuchee out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Monday Armuchee got their revenge. The Tigers fell just short of the Indians by a score of 3-1.

Meanwhile, Heard County came up short against Franklin County on Saturday and fell 9-4. The game marked the Braves' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Temple's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Heard County, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.

Temple might still be hurting after the 23-1 loss they got from Heard County in their previous matchup back in March of 2025. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
