Soccer Recap: Northside Comes Up Short

Northside's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lee County Trojans. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Northside and nudges their season record down to 3-4. As for Lee County, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northside will host Thomas County Central at 7:00 p.m. on March 7th. As for Lee County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Veterans at 7:30 p.m. on March 7th. Veterans will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Lee County surely won't give up without a fight.
