Soccer Game Preview: Gateway vs. Drew

Gateway hasn't had much luck against Drew recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Gators will host the Dragons at 4:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Gateway fell victim to Piedmont and their airtight defense on Saturday. They came up short against the Highlanders, falling 11-0. While losing is never fun, Gateway can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 804th, while Piedmont are ranked 257th).

Meanwhile, Drew's game on Thursday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They lost 5-2 to International.

Drew's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Gateway, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6-1.
