Basketball Recap: Wiseburn- Da Vinci Wolves vs. Peninsula Panthers
Wiseburn- Da Vinci was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 51-47 heartbreaker at the hands of the Peninsula Panthers. The Wolves lost against the Panthers in their previous head to head back in December of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 62-17 score last time.
When it comes to explaining why Wiseburn- Da Vinci lost, don't look at Kayla Muhammad-Flissinger. Despite the final result, she posted 14 points and five boards. Muhammad-Flissinger continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashley Sutton, who put up six points and nine rebounds.
