Basketball Recap: Valley Comes Up Short

Valley lost against Freeport on January 2nd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Valley Vikings lost to the Freeport Yellowjackets on the road by a 55-38 margin.

Valley's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Freeport, their victory ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-11.

While Valley had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
