Baseball Game Preview: Grayson Rams vs. Archer Tigers

For the second straight game, Grayson will face off against Archer. The Rams are taking a road trip to take on the Tigers at 5:55 p.m. on Friday.

Grayson is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Archer with a sharp 17-7 win on Wednesday. Considering the Rams have won nine contests by more than nine runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

For Archer's part, Apollo Bailey was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. Noah Parsons was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs.

The victory made it two in a row for Grayson and bumps their season record up to 19-9. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for Archer, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 18-9.
