Volleyball Game Preview: Albert Lea Tigers vs. Mayo Spartans

Albert Lea hasn't had much luck against Mayo recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Tigers will head out to challenge the Spartans at 7:15 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Albert Lea lost 3-0 to Northfield on Thursday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-17, 25-14.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Mayo and Owatonna, and Owatonna kept the tradition alive. The Spartans fell 3-1 to the Huskies on Thursday.

Albert Lea's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Mayo, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-12.
