Soccer Recap: Aquinas' Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Aquinas proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by six) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They beat the Harlem Bulldogs by a goal, winning 2-1. Winning may never get old, but the Fightin' Irish sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Henry Knox and Grant Miller scored both of Aquinas' goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Aquinas' victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Harlem, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

Aquinas didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 9-0 win against Howard on the 28th. As for Harlem, they will challenge Westside at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
