Football Game Preview: Inglemoor Vikings vs. Newport - Bellevue Knights + How To Watch

The Inglemoor Vikings will take on the Newport - Bellevue Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Newport - Bellevue took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Inglemoor, who comes in off a win.

Newport - Bellevue will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Inglemoor extended their winning streak to three on Friday. The Vikings came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 14-10 W against Hazen.

Peyton Mrsny was his usual excellent self, rushing for 109 yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Inglemoor was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 205 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 205 rushing yards in three consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Newport - Bellevue and Mercer Island were almost perfectly matched up on Saturday, but Newport - Bellevue suffered a 23-22 defeat. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Islanders recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Inglemoor will have to contain Tj Rhatigan as he made an impact in Newport - Bellevue's last game. He rushed for 91 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 126 yards on ten of 24 attempts.

Newport - Bellevue didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Rhatigan and Aj Atofau.

Newport - Bellevue now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Inglemoor, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Inglemoor might still be hurting after the 43-22 loss they got from Newport - Bellevue when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Thankfully for the Vikings, Cole Oliver (who threw for 224 yards and four TDs while completing 90.9% of his passes, and also rushed for 49 yards) won't be suiting up this time.
