Soccer Recap: Centralia Takes a Loss

Centralia was the 2-1 winner over Breese Central when they last played one another back in September of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. The Orphans fell 5-3 to the Cougars on Saturday. Centralia have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

They hit Breese Central with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jason Castro, Dax Snow, and Jefferson Castro.

Centralia's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Breese Central, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 3-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Centralia will face off against Wesclin at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Centralia will be up against Wesclin's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.33 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Breese Central, they will be playing at home against Gibault Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
