Volleyball Recap: Rapid City Central Takes a Loss

If Rapid City Central was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Brookings on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cobblers fell 2-0 to the Brandon Valley Lynx on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lynx this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Friday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-7.

Among those leading the charge was Mya VanWesten, who had nine digs and one assist.

Rapid City Central now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Brandon Valley, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-3.

Rapid City Central has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Watertown on the 24th. As for Brandon Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Sturgis Brown on the 24th.
