Soccer Recap: Mt. Shasta Takes a Loss

Mt. Shasta lost against Fall River back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bears came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, Mt. Shasta can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 43rd, while Fall River are ranked sixth).

Mt. Shasta now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Fall River, the victory (which was their 17th in a row) raised their record to 18-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Mt. Shasta is set to face off against their familiar foe Weed at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Fall River will square off against rival Modoc at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
