Baseball Recap: Islands' Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Islands took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against South Effingham, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Islands Sharks never let the South Effingham Mustangs get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Sharks: when they faced off against the Mustangs last Tuesday, they had to take a 13-3 defeat.
