Soccer Recap: Osborne Drops Season-High Score on Paulding County

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Osborne). They never let the Paulding County Patriots get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Tuesday. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Osborne's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 132nd, while Paulding County are ranked 392nd).

Osborne's offense was hitting Paulding County from everywhere, as eight different players booted in a goal. Kevin Montanez led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

The victory made it two in a row for Osborne and bumps their season record up to 5-6. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 3-12 Paulding County and 3-7 South Cobb. As for Paulding County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.
