Softball Recap: Calhoun County Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Calhoun County had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 19-11 to the Dougherty Trojans on Wednesday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Dougherty's win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Looking ahead, Calhoun County will square off against Monroe at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dougherty, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Deerfield-Windsor at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
