Softball Recap: Ridgeland Takes a Loss

Ridgeland fell victim to LaFayette and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ramblers. The Panthers' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Jordyn Thomas made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one triple.

Ridgeland's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for LaFayette, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ridgeland will welcome Dacula at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for LaFayette, they will challenge Calhoun at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
