            Baseball Recap: Morrow Mustangs vs. Northgate Vikings        
        
		
        
        
            Morrow was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They came up short against  the Northgate Vikings, falling  9-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  10-0  last Friday.

 Morrow saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Bryce Glass, who  went 1-for-3 with one  stolen base and one  RBI. Glass has been hot recently, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last three times he's  played.
Morrow's loss dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Northgate, the  victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 18-5.
 Coming up, Morrow will head out on the road to  challenge  Newnan  at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Cougars will roll in looking for their  14th straight  win, something the Mustangs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Northgate, they will be playing at home against Langston Hughes  at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.78  runs per game on average), something the Vikings will no doubt try to take advantage of.
